On February 16th, Mr. Steve Kidd, Deputy Director General of World Nuclear Association (WNA) and his delegation visited China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA). He was welcomed by Deputy Secretary of CNEA, Mr. Long Maoxiong, and Vice President of Institute of Nuclear and Energy Technology of Tsinghua University (INET), Mr. Sun Yuliang. They had a discussion on World Nuclear University 2012’s Tsinghua Week.

Guests and host reviewed situations of event in the past five years and exchanged opinions on the curriculum arrangement this year.

As early as 2007, the first Tsinghua Week of World Nuclear University was held in Beijing and has accumulated to thousands trainees. The trainees include college students and staff from sectors of nuclear R&D, nuclear construction, reactor operation and engineering management, etc.
