05.08.08 Alstom Chosen As Partner For China's First EPR Nuclear Power Plant

French engineering giant Alstom has signed a contract worth over EUR200 million with China Guangdong Nuclear Power Company for the engineering and procurement of the complete turbine island for the nuclear power plant to be built in Taishan, Guangdong. Taishan will be China's first European pressurized water reactor power plant.
