China Nuclear Power Simulation Technology Co., Ltd’s (CNPSC) “large pressurized water reactor simulation system” was awarded the ““National Torch Plan 2011” Certificate by Ministry of Science and Technology.

The simulation system is solely developed by CNPSC exclusive for “China advanced CRP1000 nuclear power plant”. It is applicable to train operators regarding the principle and operation of reactor and its primary coolant loop. It can also be used to check reactor system of CPR1000 power plant and analyze safety and severe accidents. The simulation system is currently being used by several new nuclear power plants. The market prospect is broad and the competition is strong.

The National Torch Plan is an important part of China’s scientific and technological plan. It aims at providing support to revitalize old industries and developing new industries.
