China Fire & Security Inc. said on July 6th that it has landed a $10 million contract to supply fire detection systems for China Nuclear Power Engineering Co.

The Chinese industrial fire protection products company said it will supply fire detection systems to key sections of China Nuclear Power's Taishan nuclear power plant in Taishan City.

China Fire also hopes to ink a fire-extinguishing contract for the Taishan plant.

Shares in China Fire slid 20 cents, or 2.3 percent, to close at $8.49.
