Recently, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers publicized that a nuclear product quality control system certificate was issued to TISCO by ASME MO. It means TISCO is the first Chinese steel enterprises having ASME MO nuclear certificate. It is strategically significant for TISCO to raise its nuclear product’s market share at home and abroad, move towards third generation nuclear technology and become a nuclear equipment supplier with increased competitiveness.
　　

In recent years, by taking advantage of various opportunities and comprehensive market research, TISCO met market demands and successfully replaced some imported nuclear products. More than 10,000 tons of nuclear steel products were supplied to domestic nuclear power plants like Yangjiang, Daya Bay, Qinshan, Hongyanhe as well as Russian plants, etc. The ASME certificate for sure will boost the competitiveness of TISCO’s nuclear power products, and offer great support for TISCO to forging its quality control brand, raise its market share and accelerate China’s nuclear industry.
