On July 30, the two accumulator tanks for Haiyang NPP Unit 2 arrived on site.

An accumulator tank is an emergency system of the reactor coolant system. In case of a loss-of-coolant accident (LOCA), the tank will provide coolant at a high flow rate and quickly cool down the reactor.
