On July 6th, a delegation of six from NUKEM technologies GmbH visited Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology, Tsinghua University. The delegation was headed by Manfred M. Nowak, president of NUKEM technologies GmbH. Sun Yuliang, Deputy Dean of Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology met the delegation.

Sun Yuliang introduced the research and development of China’s high temperature gas cooled reactor and the preparatory work of fuel manufacturing. Manfred M. Nowak introduced the change in the company shareholders and expressed wishes to cooperate with Tsinghua University with its capacity in technology and experience in high temperature gas cooled reactor technology. They also held discussion on form and content of cooperation.
