Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Fereydoun Abbasi said Wednesday that the Bushehr nuclear power plant is due to go on stream during the final days of November, 2011. 
 
Speaking to reporters at the end of the cabinet session, Abbasi said this power station is currently close to its pre-operation phase, that means the first tests for the plant’s reactor and turbine are in the final stages.

Prior to this statement, Iran’s AEO had declared that the 1st phase of Bushehr nuclear power plant would be commissioned by the end of the fasting month of Ramadan (August 2-30).
