An earthquake with a 6.7 magnitude-rattled northeast Japan on June 23rd with no impact on Fukushima nuclear power plants.
It said there was no impact from the earthquake in the process of the reactor control by the stakeholders. The Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency declared there were no reports of abnormalities at Tohoku Electric Power's Higashidori and Onagawa nuclear power plants in northeast Japan. Operations of these reactors have been halted since the March disaster.
