Asian Water Reactor Fuel Performance Meeting (WRFPM) is going to be held in Chengdu, Sichuan province from September 11th to 15th in 2011. It will be the first time China holds such international conference regarding nuclear fuel. At present the preparatory works are underway including the conference organization structure, conference content, calling for papers and etc.

The WRFPM is the conference on nuclear fuel research held in Asia. It is one of the three big international nuclear fuel conferences with the LWR Fuel Performance Meeting held in America and the ENS Top Fuel held in Europe. The WRFPM2011 included all the three activities. It will be co-organized by China Nuclear Energy Association, American Nuclear Society, European Nuclear Society, Atomic Energy Society of Japan and Korean Nuclear Society.
