09.12.11 CGNPC eyes Extract Resources in $2.2b takeover

A CHINESE company has confirmed it will launch a $2.2 billion takeover for Extract Resources through its major shareholder, Kalahari Minerals.
Using Taurus Mineral Ltd as a subsidiary, China Guandong Nuclear Power Corp (CGNPC) and The China-Africa Development Fund said overnight it will offer 243.55 pence for each share in Kalahari.
