EDF is expected to cooperate with China on nuclear energy

EDF held the nuclear power introduction conference at the headquarters in Paris. Executive Vice President of EDF, Mr. Ma Shilu, announced that EDF organized over 300 technical engineers from research, design and service departments to complete the safety assessment in 4 months for units under construction.

EDF is the biggest nuclear power operator, and China has the world’s biggest plan to develop nuclear power. EDF is willing to share the safety assessment result to strengthen nuclear power safety with China.

French is the second largest nuclear power producing country after America. It has 19 nuclear power plants and 58 nuclear power generators with an installation capacity of 63.1 GW.
