China and France exchanged topics of lessons drawn from Fukushima accident and cooperation on nuclear safety

On October 19th, Ministry of Environmental Protection’s Vice Minister, Mr. Li Ganjie, met with Mr. Michal Herbillon, a member of France-China friendship group for the National Assembly of France. Both sides had in-depth discussions on topics concerned lessons drawn from Fukushima accident and the cooperation on Sino-France nuclear safety.

Both sides agree that as two major nuclear countries in the world, it is significant for China and France to cooperate with each other. They hope China and France will further cooperate in terms of nuclear safety’s monitoring, technology and training, etc.
