On the morning of September 19th, China National Nuclear Corporation’s (CNNC) General Manager, Mr. Sun Qin met with Areva‘s President, Mr. Oursel, in Paris. This was the first time, Mr. Oursel, met with China National Nuclear Corporation’s (CNNC) leaders.

Both sides thought that they should strengthen nuclear security cooperation after the Fukushima nuclear accident. They agreed to both take action to improve nuclear safety levels and the public’s confidence.

Both sides discussed about innovative cooperation methods and other relevant topics. They will actively expand the cooperation to further the progress.

Other relevant representatives from both companies also attended the meeting.
