On the morning of December 5th, Vice President of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Corporation (CGNPC), Mr. Gao Ligang met Prof. Joseph O. Malo, CEO of Kenya National Science and Technology Committee, Prof. Shaukat A. Addulrazak and Kenya foreign minister, Mr. Silas M.Kiragu in Shenzhen Technology Building. Both sides discussed about nuclear power development.

Mr. Gao Ligang introduced the developing history and present situation of CGNPC. He stated that CGNPC was willing to share nuclear power development experience with Kenya, and provide support for Kenya nuclear power development. The visitors briefly introduced Kenya’s nuclear power development plan, nuclear power organization functions and recent work. Both sides hope to cooperate on nuclear power regulations, feasibility study, personnel training and technology development.
