09.09.10 China and Argentina discuss nuclear cooperation

A delegation headed by Sunqin, president of China National Nuclear Corporation, is visiting Argentina, China Energy News reported. The purpose of this visit is to seek nuclear cooperation opportunities with Argentina. The Chinese delegation was received by representatives from Argentina's National Atomic Energy Commission and Argentina nuclear power companies. A framework agreement was signed during this visit which involves research and development on nuclear science and technology, heavy water reactor nuclear power plant operation management, production management of nuclear fuel, uranium resources and application of nuclear technology etc.
