Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng led the trade delegation to visit to Bulgaria

A Chinese trade delegation, headed by Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce Gao Huchengm, visited Bulgaria on October 15, and participated in the annual Economic Cooperation Committee between the two governments. Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Simeon Djankov and Economy Minister Traicho Traikov met Gao Hucheng separately.
Economy Minister Traicho Traikov congratulated China for success of Shanghai World EXPO and thanked China for providing favorable conditions to Bulgaria. The two sides discussed possibilities of expanding bilateral trade, promotion of cooperation between small and medium enterprises from the two sides as well as the expansion of Chinese investment in Bulgaria. At the same time, the two sides discussed great prospects for mutually beneficial partnership in sectors such as renewable energy, nuclear energy, tourism, electronics, road infrastructure, transport and logistics.
Djankov said the project of building a joint industrial zone near Sofia is important. He hoped Bulgaria could be an entrance for China to enter into the European market.
