Currently, nuclear components must meet the standards set in the design specification. These standards adhere to the major qualification codes (RCC, ASME, KTA), and at present Chinese component manufacturers are not able to (a) produce quality to qualification level, and (b) do not fully understand the accreditation procedure. The majority of critical components therefore are imported. Over time, the Chinese market will be looking to source an increasing number of these components internally. Our purpose as a company is to facilitate and accelerate this transition.
